Rose Gold Shades Explained: 3N has the least copper content and the lightest pink tone. 4N contains more copper for a deeper rose. 5N has the highest copper content and the most pronounced red hue.

Plating Tip from Krohn: Use a bath volume of at least 500 ml. Smaller baths limit available metal, reduce anode submersion, lower current density, and become contaminated more quickly — all of which reduce plating quality and efficiency. Larger baths deliver smoother, more even finishes and extend solution life. Successful plating requires multiple processes and correct equipment. Not all metals can be gold plated.
