Melting Dish 7.5 oz. Capacity with Handle

This melting dish with handle offers a convenient solution for jewelers and metalsmiths who need to melt and pour precious metals with control and safety. The fused silica dish features a clay bond construction and measures 3" in diameter, rated for melting temperatures up to 2800°F (1537°C). The wooden handle resists heat and extends approximately 18–3/4" from end to end, giving you safe clearance from the heat source during pours. The melting dish is secured to the handle with a wing nut and screw, making it quick and easy to swap out dishes when needed.
