The NSK Nakanishi EMax EVOlution 8232 Basic Kit is a professional-grade micromotor system built for the demands of fine goldsmithing and bench work. Centered on the ENK-250T Torque Type motor, this kit delivers smooth, precise rotary power across a wide speed range and is trusted on the benches of accomplished metalsmiths and jewelers worldwide. This kit is distinguished by its inclusion of the IR310 Ring Style quick-change handpiece, which uses a twist-to-open, twist-to-close collet mechanism—a straightforward, reliable alternative to the lever-type handpiece found in standard kits.

The ENK-250T motor is slightly larger and more powerful than the standard ENK-410S, trading a higher top-end RPM for increased torque output. Speed runs from 1,000 to 25,000 RPM—or 250 to 6,250 RPM when using the optional reduction gear. The system can be operated directly from the NE-249 control box dial, or paired with an optional foot control for either set-point or variable speed operation. Forward and reverse modes are supported. This is a 120V unit.
