すでにトーチのセットアップを所有し、プロ仕様のジュエリー修理工房に必要なロウ付け専用機材を一式そろえたいジュエラーや金属加工職人向けの、箱一つにまとまったロウ付け用作業台セットです。このキットは購入者がトーチシステムを用意していることを前提としています。お好みのトーチと適切なロウ材を追加するだけで、硬ロウ付けに必要な装備が整います。
他の業界ではブレージングとも呼ばれる硬ロウ付けは、ロウ付けごてとスズまたは鉛のロウ材を使って低温で行う軟ロウ付けとは異なります。硬ロウ付けはトーチを使い、約1500°Fから始まる温度で、銀ロウや金ロウなどのロウ材を用いて行います。
基本的なロウ付け用品に加え、このキットにはドイツ規格5.0の保護メガネ、青いデニム製エプロン、回転式の正方形ロウ付け台、チタン製ロウ付けピック3本セット、Ottofluxペーストフラックス8 oz入りジャーが含まれています。
