A working assortment of silicone polishers for pre-polishing and finishing metal at the bench. The Ottotech by EVE Silicone Polishing Kit gathers 90 pieces of the most popular silicone-based polishers from EVE Germany, spanning five abrasive grades, several form factors, and a range of sizes, so one kit covers polishing on precious and non-precious metals including gold, silver, copper, nickel silver, and brass. These polishers are not suitable for platinum or titanium bright polishing.
Each color is a distinct abrasive grade. White is extra coarse for fast material removal. Black is medium coarse and suits pre-polishing. Dark Blue is semi-coarse and prepares a surface as a first-step abrasive. Light Blue is fine and serves as a second-step polishing prep. Pink is extra fine and delivers a high shine on precious metal surfaces. Run these polishers at 7,000–10,000 RPM with light pressure.
The kit is packed in an 18-compartment plastic storage box made in the USA, with every compartment labeled with reordering information. Two German-made 3/32" miniature mandrels are included.
