Description
Ransom & Randolph SC-X Investment is a professional-grade casting investment formulated for jewelry and fine art lost-wax casting. Based on the SC20 formula, SC-X contains a higher percentage of cristobalite, making it especially well-suited for casting white gold as well as other gold alloys, silver, and metal alloys. Composed primarily of powdered silica (quartz), cristobalite, and a gypsum (calcium sulfate) binder, SC-X is mixed on-site with water by the user prior to use to form precision casting molds.
