Red Brass Sheet Metal 6" x 6" Square

Cut, pierce, form and solder bench work from a warm-toned base metal sheet. Eurotool supplies these red brass squares individually, each wrapped on cardboard for protection. Red brass is a copper-zinc alloy with a higher copper content (80%) than standard yellow brass (68%–70%), which gives it a distinctly warmer, reddish tone; it is also known historically as gunmetal and is sometimes called plumber's copper. It works well for jewelry fabrication, metalsmithing and related craft applications. Each square measures 6 in. × 6 in. (152 mm × 152 mm) and is offered in six gauges, from heavy 18 gauge to thin 30 gauge.
