This drop-forged silversmith's ball stake is built for serious forming and shaping work. The polished ball measures 2-3/8" in diameter at its widest point, making it well suited for doming, planishing, and raising hollow forms in silver and other metals. The stake arrives with a basic polish that can be further refined to a high mirror finish by the user, allowing the working surface to be customized to the demands of the job. Made in the USA.
