Part # 148.236 27 In Stock Weight -- lb -- g
Current price $8.50

Description

These slide-locking solitaire soldering tweezers are purpose-built for holding both the setting and shank securely in position during soldering — making them an essential bench tool for solitaire ring work. One tip is curved to cradle the shank, while the opposite tip features an oval pad with serrations to firmly grip the setting. The slide-locking mechanism keeps both components held in alignment, freeing both hands for precise solder application.

At 140mm (5-1/2") in length, these tweezers offer comfortable reach and control at the bench. Made in India, they represent a dependable value option for everyday soldering tasks.

Its a heat sink

I saw this tool used on line and thought it would help me line up my ring shanks to be more even. Apparently I don't have the knack to do this properly as the bottom of the tool acted as a heat sink and melted the bezel of my ring and ruined it. I'll have to try again, maybe withc opper and not sterling silver.
