How we source our metal
A prong earring mounting holds a round stone while you set it at the bench and then carries that stone as the finished earring. These mountings are cast in sterling silver with a 4-prong round double gallery and come fitted with a friction post. They are not pre-cut settings, so the seats are cut to suit the stone in hand. Eight sizes cover round stones from 4.0mm to 8.0mm, roughly 0.25 ct to 2.0 ct.
