Superbrite Rhodium Replenishing Solution restores the rhodium metal content of a working plating bath at the bench once that bath runs depleted. Cohler supplies it as a liquid concentrate that brings the bath back to its original rhodium concentration. Use only to replenish an existing rhodium bath. This is not a bath starter and must not be used to make a new bath from scratch. For professional industrial and occupational use only.

Compatibility

• For use in an existing, working rhodium bath only, never as a bath starter.
• Not all metals can be rhodium plated, and successful plating requires proper equipment, chemistries, and multi-step processes.

Notes

• Do not use rhodium bath concentrate as a replenisher. Bath concentrate contains a higher sulfuric acid content and can cause dark plating if added to an existing bath.
• Do not add replenisher to a contaminated bath. If the bath no longer plates properly because of contamination, discard it and start fresh, because adding rhodium will not correct contamination.
• Determine depletion through your standard process control (amp-hour tracking, test coupons, or analytical checks) before adding replenisher.
• Mix thoroughly and verify results on a test piece before returning to production work.
• Follow your shop's chemical handling, PPE, and waste disposal protocols at all times.
