Bud burs cut and refine seats for stone setting, and this 15 piece kit covers the range from 0.60mm to 3.10mm in one holder. The burs are Swiss made Tungsten Vanadium, machined to ultra high precision tolerances so every piece in the set is uniformly consistent, cutting precious metal smoothly and cleanly with no chatter or drag. Tungsten Vanadium is the most popular bur type in the jewelry industry.
High Speed Steel (HSS) burs are hand cut one at a time and vary slightly from piece to piece. These burs are produced on modern equipment with Swiss steel hardening expertise, so performance repeats across every size. HSS burs last longer, while Tungsten Vanadium burs deliver that precision at a more accessible price. Every bur in the kit carries a 3/32" shank.
The 3/32" shanks fit most flex shaft handpieces and rotary tools.
The kit ships in a plastic bur box with 48 holes sized for 3/32" shank burs, which keeps each size organized and protected at the bench.
