It is well suited for everyday bench tasks such as making matching screw posts, screw ear nuts, and similar non-precision threading applications.

This screwplate is intended for use with soft, non-ferrous metals only—including gold, silver, and copper. It is not suitable for ferrous metals or applications requiring precise metric accuracy. For those requiring a higher-precision system with accurately matched metric taps and dies, consider the European-made Colibri system (item 156.311).
