Archimedian Push Drill With No Spring

These Archimedian push drills are easy to use and handy to have for starting and drilling holes using small twist drills under 1.2mm in diameter. Available with a return spring or without, you use these ancient push drills by placing one thumb and finger on the swivel top of the drill while using the other hand to slide the knurled rotating rod up and down the twisted shaft. Because you control the speed, there is far less chance of having your drill break or wander from your center punch guide mark when starting a drill hole. Collet opens up to a maximum diameter of 1.2mm, so it will handle twist drills no larger than size #56 (1.18mm or 0.0465") . Archimedian push drills measure 4-1/4" (110mm) in length. Made in India.
