Tip Preparation Instructions
The included tip is non-hardened and is intended to be shaped and hardened by the user. Follow the factory instructions below before first use:

Shape the tip as desired.

Hardening: Hold the piece at the thread part with tweezers. Caution: do not damage the thread. Heat the front part with a blowlamp to 820°C (light cherry-red). Cool rapidly by placing the tip head-down into an oil bath.

Remove oil: Whiten with fine sandpaper. Do not touch the point with your fingers.

Tempering: Pass the piece from back to front over a blowlamp to 130°C. The color of the piece must not change. Cool immediately in an oil bath. If the temperature is too high, the tip will lose its edge rapidly on first use — restart from Step 1 (Hardening).
Pre-shaped and hardened tips are also available separately.

Notes
The Badeco factory warranty covers repairs caused by faulty material or workmanship within one year of invoice date. Pieces dismantled by the user during the warranty period will be repaired at the user's expense. Repairs resulting from improper use or non-observance of Badeco instructions are not covered under warranty.
