Bezel Setting Tools Set of 12 In Wood Box

 

Use for finishing the setting of bezels and prong settings. Handle and punch together give total control over your delicate stone setting operations. This French made set of 12 punches ranges from 1.0mm to 8.0mm and comes with a punch handle in a hinged wood box.  The punch sizes are 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 5.0, 5.5, 6.0, 7.0 & 8.0mm.  The punch size refers to the outside diameter of the punch.  Replacement punches are available for the French made sets.  Please call or email to order replacement punches.

We recommend that you use a small crayex style point to polish the insides of these punches before use.  You can also modify these punches in various ways. One method, recommended by Goldsmith Peter Rowe, is to cut a slot with a separating disk across the top of the punch and then using an abrasive wheel slightly lower one side to the slot to effect a cutting edge on the untouched side.  Use this punch like a simple cup bur to remove material around the outside of a bezel.
