Bezel Setting Tools Set of 20 On Wood Stand-Made in Italy

For setting bezels and prong settings. This Italian made set has large sizes than the other sets we sell. This bezel setting set is similar to the French sets but covers larger sizes. It is recommend that the insides of the bezel setting tools in all our sets be super polished with Craytex type wheels before use. 

For tube settings choose heavy walled tubing .5mm larger than the stone. Then a setting burr exactly the size of the stone. For example if the stone is a 3mm round faceted stone pick a heavy walled tubing that is 3.5mm outside diameter (OD) or even a bit larger up to 3.8mm for that heavy look. Then cut the seat with a 3mm setting bur. Seat the stone then burnish the bezel with the appropriate size setting tool.

This set of 20 setting tools range 2mm to 12mm with a punch handle in a wood storage stand. Punch sizes are 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0, 5.5, 6.0, 6.5, 7.0, 7.5, 8.0, 8.5, 9.0, 9.5, 10.0, 10.5, 11.0 & 12.0mm Replacement punches are available for sizes up to 6.5mm.

We suggest that you take some time to inspect and polish if necessary the insides of your bezel punching tools before use.  A super smooth and polished interior finish will not mar settings.We recommend this for all bezel setting tools we sell. This set has nicely finished interiors but there is no jewelry tool that can't be improved on by the user. bullet point (Part # 110.342) or similar shaped polishers can be used.
