Polychem Polycrystals 16J is a low-foaming highly alkaline crystallized cleaner concentrate for in-process metal fabrication and finishing operations. Its excellent cleaning ability removes soils such as oils, grease, stencil inks, metal working fluids, drawing compounds, polishing and buffing compounds, jewelers rouges, Tripoli,. from steel, steel alloys, aluminum, aluminum alloys, galvanized steel and other substrates.

Polycrystal 16J is also effective as a precious metals, electronic components etc, cleaner. It is a silicate cleaner containing phosphates, sequestrants and surfactants. Polycrystals 16J rinses freely.

They can be used as a pre-cleaner for multi-metals prior to phosphating process. Polycrystals can be used in spray washers, agitated tanks, and ultrasonic tanks. All applications should be followed by a water rinse.

Application Procedure:
Clean the solution tank. Add water to the operating level of the tank and heat to about 120°F. Add sufficient amount of Polycrystals 16J to make a working solution of 2-4 tablespoons per gallon of water. Mix well and heat the solution to the operating temperature of 120°-140°F and process cleaning. Maintain concentration of the solution by titration and frequent addition of the product to assure consistent performance of the product. Rinse thoroughly with water and dry.

CAUTION: POLYCHEM POLUCRYSTALS 16J may cause irritation to skin and eyes. Avoid prolonged contact with skin and eyes.
