Laser light made from engraving systems uses 1064 Nanometers (NM) wave length. Each Unified laser is sold with a pair of glasses to block out this near infrared light. If the unit needs to placed in an open area where customers or other people are around, this will guarantee their safty. The enclosure blocks out all the harmful light while still giving you the ability to see inside.
