Graver Handle Pear Shape

Pear shaped wood graver handle with metal ferrule. Guide holes to ease fitting of the graver. Ends are reinforced with metal ferrules to secure the graver and prevent handle from splitting.Size and color may vary as this is a hand made natural product. 

To fit gravers you may choose from several different methods. One method is when you heat up the tang of the graver and then press the graver into the guide hole of the graver handle. The red hot tang burns a perfect fit into the handle. Another method is to use a drill to slightly open up the guide hole in the graver handle and then grind the tang of the graver into a point to fit into the graver. Using a wood block to protect the tip of the graver, you then hammer the graver tang into the graver handle.
