These files are parallel in width and tapered in thickness to make possible perfectly flat filing. Double cut top and bottom - Both edges are safe.

Starting in 2015 Grobet Swiss Pattern Precision Files are made in Italy.  If you are looking for genuine Swiss Made Precision Files, they are now sold in the United States as Glardon-Vallorbe Precision Files. If your files say "Swiss Made", they were made by Glardon-Vallorbe of Switzerland.
