Jura is a master stonesetter from the Netherlands who specialized in the highest quality micro-stonesetting. Through the years he has created many specialized tools for holding a wide variety of items to stone set, most notably rings but including watch cases, beads, broaches and pendants. The popularity of micro pave stonesetting continues to grow, and just about anything you can think of can now be successfully microstoneset.
This is the optional jaw set for the GRS Microblock with 3/32" (2.35mm) pin holes.
Why this tool?-3/32" shanks are the standard diameter in jewelry bits and burs. JURA has made this tool to replace the standard GRS Microblock jaw set which use tops with nine 3.8mm diameter holes and three threaded holes per jaw side. The JURA Microblock jaw set with 3/32" holes is much more useful for the diamond setter as with it you can re-use modified worn and broken 3/32" diameter burs to make a variety of jigs for holding items to be set.
This jaw set is used with the JURA tool holders that fit into the GRS Microblock. You need to own a GRS microblock fitted with either the basic JURA attachment set or the complete JURA attachment set in order to use the JURA Microblock jaw set with 3/32" pin holes.
