The Jura Otto Frei Stone Setter's Workbench is designed by Jura, the world famous stone setter from the Netherlands. This bench is designed for microstonesetting applications with a microscope and will accommodate the Jura Microscope Stand and GRS Glendo engraving systems.
The Jura Otto Frei Custom Stone Setter's Workbench's 1-1/2" thick, black, Formica covered bench top provides an excellent background for locating loose diamonds. The Jura bench has 6 open back cubby holes that are adjustable for height. (The photo shows the standard configuration that Jura uses for the cubbies to hold equipment.) Additionally, the backs are open to allow for simple equipment cord, and air hose connections.
The Jura bench is made to fit all the necessary equipment that Jura uses for microstonesetting. The bench back behind the black Formica working bench top has room to mount the Jura microscope stand, while the high top has space to accommodate the Jura tool holder board.
Made to Jura's design here in the USA, Otto Frei uses solid, real wood for the legs, top trim, bottom trim, and face frames. Door side and back panels are made of cabinetmaker quality oak, or maple-veneered plywood, so it looks as good from the back as it does from the front. Everything is put together by professional cabinetmakers, so the final product is a workbench that stands apart from all others; a beautiful, solid and sturdy workbench that can take whatever even the toughest jeweler dishes out.
