We have made hundreds of special custom workbenches over the years and most are "one and done".  This custom workbench was made from drawings submitted by a New York based designer for a very specific purpose, stone setting in a production situation using microscopes and power engraving systems.  After the initial order of 6 benches was delivered, one of the stone setters in the shop liked the bench so much he ordered one for his personal studio, so we have added this model to our line of custom benches. This stone setters bench shares many visual clues with all of our custom benches that makes it easily identifiable as one of ours, including the 1-1/2" thick butcher block top and solid Alder wood legs, the tool tray and other cabinet grade materials used.

This bench was purposely built without a bench pin slot or mandrel holes. For a bench pin we recommend attaching a GRS mounting plate to use the GRS bench pin and any other GRS type tools as you see fit. Mandrel holes can be easily drilled in the top as you see fit.

From Honda to Rolls Royce

I've been using a students bench for 20 years and always found it cramped and ergonomically challenging. When I saw this bench, with its multiple adjustable trays and storage and ample workspace, I bit the bullet. I'm so delighted! It's beautifully made and brilliantly thought out. Wish I'd seen it years ago. One fun fact, when it arrives in one glorious, solid, weighty piece, the legs are stapled to the pallet. Makes for a bit of a challenge.

Beyond expectations, really well set up bench

I’ve had this bench for a couple years now, and every day I use it, I am so happy with the decision to purchase it. With the layout boards, space for all my small tools and graver Mach and tons of top area, it does it all. I modded the bench by adding some LED lights just under the top to illuminate the tray area which was really helpful. There is not a single thing I would change about it. Plus it’s really well made. I spent a lot of time searching for an ideal bench, and as an art jeweller who fabricates as well as sets, I cannot recommend this bench enough.
