This is the microscope package recommended by Jura for use on a Jura bench (or a similar workbench). It pairs the Meiji EMZ-10 zoom microscope with the latest Jura by GRS fixed-position stand and an LED ring/spot light for a stable, repeatable micro stone setting workstation.

Why the Jura by GRS Stand

  • Purpose-built for micro stone setting: fixed-position geometry keeps your working angles constant.
  • Mounting options: newest version can be bench-top mounted or wall mounted.
  • Set-and-forget adjustment: position is changed via two set-screw points; once dialed in, no frequent repositioning is needed.

  • Protective (0×) lens is used instead of an auxiliary lens, preserving optical performance while protecting the objective.
  • Standard working distance: 110 mm (4-3/8"), ideal for Jura benches and tools used in micro stone setting.

Use & Setup Notes

  • For micro stone setting, maintain the recommended 110 mm working distance when using the protective lens.
  • If you need more tool clearance, select an auxiliary lens per the table; note that higher working distance reduces maximum magnification.
  • When installing the Jura by GRS stand, set height and reach once, then lock both set screws to preserve alignment.
