This scale is battery (4-AA alkaline, not included) or AC plug in adapter (included) powered.

 

The TAJ602 US scale allows you to select your weighing modes so you can set up the scale to only show the variety of weighing options you use. This scale also has a calibration mode and a weigh from below feature.  This scale does not have legal for trade certification.
