Optical Glass Prismatic Lens

America's # 1 Choice-Made in the USA-See the Video Above and Find Out Why

The Optivisor from Donegan is the number one choice for jewelers and craftsmen in head mounted magnifiers. The Optivisor uses a specially ground and polished lightweight glass lens that provides the best optical clarity and durability. OptiVisors are the only head mounted magnifier that uses optical glass prismatic lenses. All other head mounted magnifiers use plastic lenses. Optivisors can be worn over glasses and are sold in a variety of magnifications. Lens plates are easily changed and are available separately. Lenses are easily interchangeable, so you may want to consider purchasing separate lenses when you buy your OptiVisor.

Product Note: When choosing your Optivisor it is best to think of the working distance you will be most comfortable with. Although a high magnification might seem desirable, you might not want to have to be 4" away from your work! The most popular model has a working distance of 8" (DA 5), followed by 14" (DA 3), 10" (DA 4), 4" (DA 10) then 20" (DA 2). The distance given is the ideal length objects are in focus measured from the lens plate, not your eyes. For added magnification, add an Optiloupe. And don't forget one of the great light attachments listed below.

The OptiVISOR is manufactured in six different powers for use in different applications. The number in the upper left-hand corner of the lens plate indicates the approximate diopter power of the lens.

Optivisor

I love this optivisor! So comfortable to wear all day (very light). My only regret is why did I wait so long to give them a try. By far (100%) better than what I was using. The clarity of the lenses is amazing. Highly recommend.

The best value by far.

Excellent product. I've been using these in #4, 7, and 10 lenses for 37 years. I have tried a few other products but I haven't found anything better.
