These cleaning & finishing broaches are made of high quality steel and uniformly tempered for a long life. Lengths vary from 150 mm (5-7/8") for the largest size (Stubs #15) to 66 mm (2-5/8") for the smallest size (Stubs #70).

These broaches are not available individually.

These broaches are called English Pattern Broaches. They use what is called the Stubs sizing grading system, a measuring system originating in England. The numbers correspond to the markings from an English screw plate by Peter Stubs of Warrington in Lancashire. Mr Stubs was a well know maker of watch and clock making tools during the early 1800's.
