Small Ondulator Corrugating Rolling Mill With 4 Sizes

This smaller version of our corrugating rolling mill is a simple rolling mill used for corrugating thin gauges of soft metal sheet. Used primarily for adding a corrugated effect to thin bezel wire. This ondulator needs to be mounted in a vise or attached to a workbench. For use with soft precious metal sheet up to 24mm wide. The samples of corrugated materials shown in our detailed images were made with 30 gauge (0.25mm/.010") sheet. Thicker material can be attempted, but the corrugated effect is not as pronounced, as our attempts with 26 gauge (0.40mm/.016") copper sheet produced more of a marking effect than corrugation.

This is a direct drive simple mill with neither the size nor the leverage to move hard or thick metals without risking damage to the rolls or the frame.

This mill has four different pairs of corrugating rolls with different spacing of teeth, from very fine to coarse. Tensioning is done with the large knob on top. Mill can be disassembled if the rolls become stuck. Made in Italy. Dimensions: 9" tall by 3-1/2" by 2-1/2"
