New version available: now offered with titanium frames. The titanium-frame model has a slightly different ear wrap on the spring temples (the part that goes around the back of your ear). The optics and performance remain the same as the earlier version shown in our video.

Overview

The Carl Zeiss binocular magnifiers deliver 2.3× magnification at a 10" focal length with an outstanding 2" field of view. Using Galilean optics, they’re known for comfort, classic proportions, and German-made lenses that provide crisp detail and high contrast for extended use. Lightweight at just ~1.5 oz, they’re ideal for jewelers who need to see fine detail comfortably.

How to Visualize the View

  • Magnification × Field of View: 2.3× × 2" ≈ 4.6" apparent width. A 2" ruler section appears ~4.6" wide.
  • Focal Length: Measure 10" from your eyes—that’s the working distance.
  • Depth of Field: ~1/2" front-to-back remains in focus for comfortable working.
