Preferred by gemologists for its distinctly whiter light spectrum, LED illumination delivers cleaner, truer color rendering compared to incandescent sources. The LEDs offer a nearly unlimited service life, and batteries last approximately 5 times longer than with traditional incandescent bulbs—reducing ongoing usage costs while keeping the magnifier ready when you need it.

The 35 mm aspheric lens is made from optical-grade plastic with a Cera-tec coating, delivering sharp, distortion-free magnification at 10x (38 diopters). A snap-on yellow filter is included for those who prefer softer, warmer illumination. The magnifier is powered by 2 AA batteries, which are included.
