This is a good quality version of the classic watchmakers vise suitable for mounting directly to your watchmakers or jewelers workbench for precision work. Includes one mounting base. Only the mounting base is secured to your workbench, by four screw holes. Mounting screws are not included. The vise can be quickly removed from its mounting base by sliding a lever back and reattaches and securely locks back on its base when the lever is slid forward. The jaws are smooth and measure 2" (50mm) wide with a maximum opening of 1-1/2" (38mm). Measures 4-1/2" x 3" x 1-1/2" when fully closed. Similar to the Bergeon 2021.

If you purchase additional mounting bases which are available separately, you can move this high precision watchmakers vise from one bench to another, or one location on your bench to another.
