G-Tac Slurry Coated Polishing Cloth Assortment

G-Tac Slurry Coated Polishing Cloth is a flexible, long-lasting abrasive material designed for finishing and polishing jewelry creations. Slurry coating embeds multiple layers of grit into the binder resin, producing a finer finish than standard coated abrasives of the same grit size. This makes slurry coated abrasives especially well suited for fine and extra-fine finishing work on precious metals.

Each sheet is constructed from tough rayon and silicon carbide abrasives. The micron grading technique produces particles of uniform size, delivering a consistent finish with no high or low spots. Sheets can be used wet or dry and can be cut into strips and applied to wood or mandrels to create custom polishing tools.

Cut a sheet into narrow strips and you can also use them like traditional polishing string or Mitchell's polishing cord, tensioned in a standard jeweler's saw frame to reach into pierced openings, between gallery wires, and around settings that conventional sanding sticks cannot access.
