These tapered split slotted mandrels are designed for flex shaft use and feature 3/32" diameter shanks. Purpose-built for crafting custom inside ring sanders, they work with 3M™ Utility rolls or any sanding paper you cut to fit. Simply wrap the paper tightly around the mandrel and glue the top to secure it in place. As the abrasive wears during use, tear back the paper to expose a fresh cutting surface—a simple, efficient system that extends the life of each wrap.
