A pre-mixed liquid hard soldering flux that prevents firecoat and firescale from forming while you solder. Prip's Flux from Griffith is fluoride-free and ready to use, which eliminates the guesswork of mixing your own Prip's flux, so the formula is consistent every time. Apply it before your primary flux as a firecoat protection step. Contains boric acid. Available in two convenient sizes.

Recommended by my instructor, Tonya Davidson. This flux is amazing and I’m so glad I tried it. It helps protect metal from firescale and firestain by forming a protective barrier that prevents oxygen from reaching the surface. Works great and best of all it doesn’t contain potassium bifluoride, which is highly toxic.
