Artifex 4" (100mm) diameter conforming wheels bring professional-grade silicon carbide abrasive performance to jewelry benches and metalsmithing studios. Made in Germany, these wheels combine silicon carbide abrasive with a non-clogging, spongy rubber base that provides a cushion effect — allowing the wheel to conform to contours and curved surfaces far more effectively than standard silicon carbide rubber-bonded wheels. The cushioning action prevents gouging on precious metals, making these wheels a reliable choice for deburring and producing smooth matte finishes quickly and cleanly with minimal dust and debris.
