The Band Chuck with 1/4" Shank is designed for use with 3/4" bands and is engineered to fit the Wells Quick Change Chuck system. The Wells quick change chuck operates similarly to a car clutch, allowing brushes and other bits to be swapped out quickly without stopping the motor — a significant time-saver in a busy professional shop.

This chuck is factory mounted to a Baldor 380WCT and accepts either 3/32" diameter shank tools or 1/4" diameter shank tools. No sizes in between or larger are compatible. The system comes equipped with 3/4" diameter shank tools, a sandpaper arbor, a stone or wheel arbor, and a right-side tapered spindle.
