A 90 degree hart bur cuts the bearing and seat a stone sits in. Busch Fig. 156C (European Fig. 414) 90° hart burs are among the most widely used bearing and seat cutting burs in professional jewelry work, and this kit puts one bur in each size from 0.70 mm through 4.00 mm on the bench, every one on a 3/32 in (2.35 mm) shank.
The burs are made from tungsten vanadium steel and manufactured to ultra-high precision tolerances, giving a uniform, controlled cutting action across the whole range. Sizes correspond to the European Fig. 414 and USA Fig. 156C standards. The kit arrives in a plastic bur box with 48 holes for 3/32 in shank burs.
The product image is for illustration only and may show carbide burs with yellow rings on the shanks. The burs in this kit are tungsten vanadium steel and do not have yellow rings on the shanks.
Everything in the box.
