Cut precise oval shapes from soft non-ferrous metals with this set of four oval disc cutters, presented in a protective wood storage box. Designed for jewelers and metalsmiths, these cutters are manufactured from properly hardened tool steel with sharp cutting edges individually fitted to their matching holes at extremely close tolerances. The result is clean, accurate oval blanks ready for fabrication, forming, or further finishing work.
Suitable for soft precious metals such as gold, silver, and copper up to 20 gauge thick. Other non-ferrous metals including brass and nickel silver can also be cut with care. Use with a mallet or in a hydraulic press.

- Use on top of a rubber pad for support during cutting.
- Apply a cutting lubricant such as Stay Sharp to the cutting edges before use.
- Use a suitable mallet — a brass mallet is recommended. Never use a nail-driving hammer.
- Support the opposite side of the cutter with a sheet of the same diameter metal being cut to maintain alignment and minimize material sticking.
- Do not exceed the 20-gauge maximum thickness recommendation.
- Only cut soft non-ferrous metals. Never use on ferrous metals.
- Always orient the cutting edges downward during use.
- To prevent rust, keep cutters lubricated between uses and store in a dry location.
- Use with a 95 durometer urethane pad to extend cutter life.
