The Round Drawplate Model F is an American Style drawplate offering a broad range of hole sizes in a single hardened steel plate. American Style drawplates are based on sizes first standardized in the United States. After the demise of domestic drawplate manufacturers, production moved to France — and now that French manufacturers are no longer producing these plates, only Italian makers continue to offer American-size calibrated drawplates.

This plate features 40 holes ranging from 3.5 mm down to 0.3 mm, covering a span roughly equivalent to just under 8 gauge down to 28 gauge (B&S). The steps between holes are not exactly graduated by tenths of a millimeter, reflecting the natural character of the American sizing system — as the B&S gauge itself is not metrically uniform. Some metric size references are included alongside the American sizes for added convenience.
