Superbrite Pen Rhodium is a highly concentrated, sulfuric-acid–based pen plating chemistry formulated for precise, localized rhodium deposits. Compared to bath rhodium, pen solutions use a different pH and higher metal concentration to deliver rapid coverage, excellent throwing power, and a brilliant mirror-white finish—ideal for two-tone accents, small touch-ups, and quick repair work. • Substrate compatibility: Plate directly over gold, platinum, palladium, or nickel. When plating over silver or base metals, apply a nickel or palladium pre-plate for best adhesion and color consistency.
• Surface preparation: Thorough cleaning and activation or strike steps, as required, are essential for adhesion and uniform color.
• Equipment: Requires pen-plating equipment with compatible tips. Successful plating depends on correct equipment and multi-step processes; not all metals can be rhodium plated.
• Safety: Sulfuric acid based — wear appropriate PPE and ensure adequate ventilation during use.
• Hazardous material: Ships via UPS Ground only within the USA. No USPS or air services. Not returnable; all sales final.
