The Foredom H.15 Hammer Handpiece is a reciprocating-action handpiece designed for jewelers who need reliable hammer handpiece performance without the premium cost of a top-tier Swiss-made unit. It delivers a 1/32" stroke with adjustable impact force — from light to heavy — controlled by rotating the silver knurled adjusting ring.
Unlike rotary handpieces, the H.15 operates with a reciprocating motion, making it ideal for stone setting as its primary application. It can also be used for texturing work, most effectively with the pavé point (diamond tip) accessory (Otto Frei part number 153.195), which produces a bright-cut stippled effect. The H.15 is also compatible with the Foredom Carbide Tip (HP10212, Otto Frei part number 134.301) for marking or inscribing hardened steel.
The H.15 is supplied with a hardened tip. Tip threads are 4-48 US thread, the same standard used on popular Badeco tips — meaning tips are interchangeable between the H.15 and the Swiss-made Badeco hammer handpiece.
Important: Use at low speed only (0–5,000 rpm) and only in forward rotation. This handpiece requires periodic lubrication with MS10005 Handpiece Lube (Otto Frei part number 134.343).
