Nakanishi NSK IR-310 Twist to Open Quick Change Ring Type Handpiece

The NSK IR-310 is a precision ring-type handpiece engineered for quick, tool-free bit changes on compatible NSK micromotors. Its twist-to-open, twist-to-close mechanism allows for fast collet access without the need for wrenches or additional tools, keeping workflow smooth at the bench. At 3-1/2" long and 1" in diameter, this handpiece offers a balanced, ergonomic profile suited for detailed engraving, grinding, drilling, and finishing work.

Compatible with the NSK Electer E-Max and Nakanishi NSK Evolution micromotors, the IR-310 can also be paired with optional reduction gear units positioned between the handpiece and the motor for expanded versatility. Each handpiece ships with two collets included—a 3/32" and a 1/8"—covering the most common rotary bur shank sizes used in jewelry making and metalsmithing.
