The Foredom M.LX-TXR-H.30 Flex Shaft Kit with Hanger is a complete, professional-grade flex shaft system engineered specifically for jewelry stone setting and other low-speed, high-torque applications. Built around the M.LX Series permanent magnet motor, this kit delivers constant torque at low RPMs — precisely what stone setters, bead setters, and anyone drilling at reduced speeds demand from a flex shaft system.

The LX Series motor is the direct successor to Foredom's no-longer-produced EE, R, and original L Series motors, all developed for professional stone setting. The 1/10 HP permanent magnet ball bearing motor holds steady torque without bogging down under load — a critical requirement when working at low speeds. This kit is also the recommended choice for use with hammer handpieces, such as the Badeco hammer handpiece, which must be operated at low speeds (generally under 3,000 RPM).

Important: The M.LX motor requires a compatible Foredom foot control or bench control. Use only a Foredom C.TXR (plastic housing), C.SXR (metal housing) foot control, or a Foredom EMX bench-mounted control. Using the LX motor with any other control type or brand may damage the motor.
