Designed for jewelers and metalsmiths, it performs the same functions as larger traditional stakes — forming bezels, making hollow rings, and general smithing work — scaled down for precise, small-scale applications. The convex end is suited for general forming tasks, while the concave end is purpose-built for shaping concave curves on bracelets and cylinders. As with any forming tool, the stake can be modified to suit custom applications.
