The Wubbers Ring and Hoop Press – Fancy Scallop Pattern is a precision 2-part steel die system designed for jewelers and metalsmiths who need to quickly form patterned rings and hoops without the expense of a hydraulic press. The press works with all types of wire to produce consistently textured, fancy scallop-patterned rings and hoops ranging from 13 mm (1/2") inside diameter up to 36 mm (1-3/8") outside diameter. Whether you're working with square or round wire, this tool delivers professional results with minimal setup.

The system consists of an outer sleeve and two inner dies. Each inner die features a pin that fits into a groove on the outer sleeve, ensuring perfect alignment between the top and bottom dies every time. To use, simply join the ends of your wire, shape it on a mandrel, place it in the bottom die within the outer sleeve, set the top die in place, and strike with a weighted rawhide mallet or suitable hammer. The result is a cleanly impressed, fancy scallop-textured ring or hoop ready for finishing.
