The Foredom LX Series flex shaft system is engineered specifically for the professional jewelry stone setter. At the heart of this kit is a 1/10 HP permanent magnet, ball bearing motor rated to a maximum of 5,000 RPM — delivering the high-torque, low-speed performance that stone setting demands without bogging down under load. The LX motor is the direct successor to the discontinued EE, R, and original L Series units, carrying forward that proven heritage in a modern package.
Each kit pairs the LX motor with the C.TXR foot-operated variable speed control in a plastic housing (115V), giving the setter precise hands-free speed management at the bench. Choose from five professional hammer or polishing handpiece options at the time of purchase to complete your setup.
