Glardon-Vallorbe Barrette Parallel Escapement Files - LE3011

Glardon-Vallorbe Barrette Parallel Escapement Files are Swiss-made precision tools built to the exacting standards watchmakers and jewelers demand. The barrette parallel profile is parallel in width and tapered in thickness, coming to a rounded point at the tip. Only the bottom face of this file is cut, leaving a safe (uncut) edge and top — ideal for working in tight spaces without marring adjacent surfaces.

These files are also known as watchmakers files. File length is measured from the tip to the end of the cut and does not include the tang. Measurements given for width and thickness are at the thickest point. Each file features a square handle for secure, controlled grip.
