GlenSteel is a special High-Speed Steel (HSS) manufactured by GRS. It wears predictably, helping to eliminate the catastrophic tool failures that can ruin work and undermine confidence. Importantly, GlenSteel is cobalt-free, removing the health concerns associated with cobalt exposure during tool sharpening and use.
These gravers feature a 1/8" (3.18 mm) diameter round shank and are compatible with 1/8" QC tool holders, including GRS 004-875 (Otto Frei #104.875).
