Graver Handle-Round

The Round Graver Handle provides a comfortable, traditional grip for engravers and stonesetting work. Designed to accept standard graver tangs, this handle can be fitted using one of two proven methods commonly used by professional jewelers and engravers.

The first method involves heating the tang of the graver until red hot, then pressing it into the guide hole of the handle. The heat allows the tang to burn a precise, custom-fit channel directly into the wood, creating a secure and snug fit. The second method uses a drill to slightly enlarge the guide hole, while the tang of the graver is ground to a tapered point. Using a wood block to protect the graver tip, the tang is then hammered firmly into the handle.
